    • What is Genética Website?

    Genetics is the area of study of biology that seeks to understand and explain how biological inheritance is transmitted from generation to generation. It is a of the fundamental areas of modern biology, encompassing within it a large number of own and interdisciplinary disciplines that are directly related to biochemistry and cell biology.
    The objective of this page is to serve students and teachers for teaching-learning of the concepts and techniques of genetics.

      It is an online tool for self-monitoring and surveillance of nutritional habits and weight assessment.

      MiSalud is an Internet tool for self-monitoring and surveillance of nutritional habits and weight evaluation. This system generates a report that provides recommendations on eating habits and weight evaluation. The user can obtain their report in PDF immediately after capturing their information, and can also consult monthly monitoring graphs. The system is universally available and has been used by more than 2,000 young Mexicans.

      Internet platform to support face-to-face courses.

      MiLista is a free, public Internet application that supports the teacher in the administration of a face-to-face course in the tasks of:
      Student data registration: name, email and registration;
      Attendance list and percentage calculation;
      List of tasks or exercises;

      Abaco Magazine is a digital publication on the web for cultural dissemination, which includes both dissemination of science and art. It is also designed so that teachers can submit teaching material and thus form a repository of peer-reviewed teaching material.

      Public tool for creating taxonomic identification keys on the web.

      AbaTax is a tool for creating automated taxonomic identification keys. It allows the incorporation of images of both the character states and the organisms to be identified. The researcher enters a small taxonomic database, including the list of taxa. AbaTax provides a dynamic identification interface that allows non-experts in the group the identification process.
